Jays VolleyLeague
Jays VolleyLeague is a fun, beginner-friendly volleyball program designed for kids in Kindergarten through 6th grade. It’s a great way for young athletes to learn the game, build skills, and be part of a team in a positive, supportive environment.
Program Details by Grade:
- Kindergarten–1st Grade: Meets September 6, 13, 20 & 27 from 8:00–8:45am – $30
- 2nd–3rd Grade: Meets August 16, 23 and September 6, 13, 20 & 27 – $50
- 4th–6th Grade: Meets August 16, 23 and September 6, 13, 20, 27, plus an end-of-season tournament on October 5 in Ashland – $60
A Jays VolleyLeague t-shirt is included in the program fee.
Optional for 3rd–6th Grade:
Kids can also join extra competitive tournaments (includes 3 tournaments and a team uniform) for an additional $25 for 3rd grade and $75 for 4th-6th grade. Tournament dates will be set by grade level once registration closes.
Important Notes:
- No session on August 30 (Labor Day weekend)
- Scrimmage and travel dates may shift slightly depending on gym and team availability
- Registration deadline: July 21
- Sign up by this date to guarantee a t-shirt
- No late registrations accepted for tournament teams (to ensure uniforms arrive on time)

K-1st: 8:00-8:45 AM (Sept 6, 13, 20, 27)
2nd-3rd: 9:00-10:30 AM (Aug 16, 23 / Sept 6, 13, 20, 27)
4th-6th: 9:00-10:30 AM (Aug 16, 23 / Sept 6, 13, 20, 27 / Oct 5)
Where
Practices/trainings will be held at Ashland-Greenwood High School (main & aux gym), Primary School and Middle School.
Each grade will have a consistent location with the exception of September 13th - locations for that date will be communicated ahead of time.
Practices
Practices will be held on Saturday mornings.
Games
There will be game play opportunities each week outside of the extra cost tournaments for grades 2nd-6th.
Extra Costs
Grades 3rd-6th have the option to sign up for 'JVL + TOURNAMENTS'.
3rd Grade: 1 tournament (+ $25 = $55 total)
4th-6th Grade: 3-4 tournaments (+ $75 = $135 total)
TShirts & Uniforms
JVL tshirt will be included in the JVL ONLY option.
A JVL uniform & tshirt will be included in the JVL + TOURNAMENTS option.
