High School Volleyball
Ashland-Greenwood Volleyball is a growing high school program based in Ashland, Nebraska, competing in Class C1. With three teams—Varsity, JV, and Reserve—we’re focused on building a strong foundation from the ground up, developing athletes at every level. Through consistent coaching, competitive play, and a commitment to growth, AGVB is working hard to elevate the program and create a lasting tradition of excellence.

Practices
Start Date: August 11
Location: AG Middle School
🗓 Weekly Schedule:
• Monday–Thursday: 3:30–6:00 PM (after school)
• Friday: 6:00–7:50 AM (morning practice)
⏱ Note: End times may vary depending on that week’s game schedule.
Practice Shirts
Each player will receive 3 AGVB practice shirts (WILL USE FUNDRAISER MONEY - no cost to players). A shirt color schedule will be provided so players know which shirt to wear each day.
If cost is a concern, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Coach Rian—we’re happy to make arrangements so that every athlete is included!
Uniforms
Each AGVB player will receive 2 uniforms—one blue and one white. While players will decide together which color to wear for tournaments, home games are typically blue and away games are typically white.
Players should always bring both jerseys to all competitions to ensure we're prepared for any uniform changes.
Warm Ups
All AGVB players will receive an AGVB long sleeve warm-up shirt at no additional cost. We’re also actively fundraising to provide warm-up jackets and backpacks to complete the team look and enhance the athlete experience.
Games & Tournaments
AGVB games are typically scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with occasional Saturday tournaments throughout the season. Varsity players can expect to compete in more Saturday events than the other teams.
Volleyball is a significant time commitment, and we truly appreciate the dedication and support from our athletes and their families!
